On Monday, May 1, we held our first College Signing Day rally for our graduating seniors!
Our day started with a welcome from Mr. Demirtas followed by a performance from our school choir led my Ms. Wilhelm. Ms. Archer inspired and motivated our students when she spoke about the importance of a college education. Urging our students to reach higher and push themselves to further their opportunities, Ms. Archer assured our students saying "College is going to be worth it for you"!
We all had a great time watching the RACS seniors slideshow featuring old and funny photos of our graduating seniors. Lots of cheering followed the College Acceptance Certificate Ceremony portion of our program where each student was featured and their college of choice was announced. We are so proud of our students! Some of the featured colleges were MCC, RIT, and Keuka College and so much more!
Seniors were also given the opportunity to ask varied questions about College life and what to expect during a 4 panelist seminar led by Ms. Tatum, "So you're off to college, now what?".
