Welcome to the Rochester Academy Charter School (RACS) Counseling Department.

The mission of the College & Career Guidance Department is to work with each individual student and family to determine the college or university that will most appropriately meet the academic, social, and emotional needs of our students while nurturing their intellectual and personal gifts.

We are committed to facilitating the successful and appropriate transition for every student from RACS to post-secondary educational opportunities. Each student is encouraged to explore his or her own talents, strengths, and interests while considering the many possible educational opportunities available immediately following graduation.

Throughout the year, we will be posting information here detailing the services and support we offer to parents and students. Please check back regularly for more information.
 
Guidance counselors welcome all students to their offices, regardless of their academic, vocational or personal circumstances.  No special invitation is needed. Students may stop in before or after school or during their lunch to make an appointment. Guidance staff is available throughout the school day and by appointment for after-school meetings.
