How to Log on to Your Child's Nearpod Lessons

Nearpod is a great tool that teachers use to create live and self-paced lessons for their classes, using engaging interactive slides, games, polls, quizzes, videos, and more. Here is a brief overview on how to join your child's Nearpod lessons.

hello parents and families my name is Mary and Sullivan I am the key through 12 instructional technology specialist hear it and today I am going to show you how to log on to your child nearpod license so the first way that we can get to lessons by going to the school website racks. Com navigate over to racks links click on Schoology and sign into schoology with your child email or username and password be sure that everything is spelled correctly have your at symbol Rochester Dash academy.org and that there are no additional spaces after or else it will give you an error and it will not let you sign in if your password has any capital letters be sure to include make sure everything is together with no spaces and then click the blue login button once you're logged in you will navigate to your child of course you can use the courses tab at the top or you can use this course Dash or tap here either one will be able to give you a list of courses you just bring your child is in I'm going to play and then on the left-hand navigation side I see the sling to nearpod and I'm going to click on that your teacher giving you a code to join a session you go ahead and type this code in here once the code is entered in the arrow to go and you'll be entered in nearpod session if your child is a little bit older their course might look a little bit different so when you click on courses it may show this screen here different format that is a more developmentally appropriate for an older student on the left hand side you'll see nearpod again on this year and it will take you to Steam login page while had in enter the code here the arrow to enter and the session will come up once again now if you prefer you can also access your child in your pot license through nearpod.com so instead of logging in through schoology right to the near side website when you get there you will see three different boxes we're going to be focused on the students box where it says doing a lesson enter code you will put your child code that you got from the teachers Sarah Kanter and there you have it you have entered your child nearpod lesson nearpod.com as well for any additional assistance with logging onto nearpod please reach out to your teacher if you can reach out to me at Sullivan at Rochester Dash academy.org
