Princeton Prize in Race Relations

In order to recognize, support, and encourage the young people of our country who have demonstrated a commitment to advancing the cause of positive race relations, Princeton University sponsored an annual award program for high school students—the Princeton Prize in Race Relations. RACS Diversity Club students Essence Hagan and Busra Rengin participated in the ceremony on March 15th, 2015 at Allen Creeks School. In addition to presenting the activities they organized during the year, e.g. Thanksgiving, Halloween, baking Christmas cookies and traditional cooking classes…, they also mentioned how these activities contributed to increase harmony, understanding, respect and peace among the diversity club students who are of different races in the school.
