On Thursday April 21, students involved in both athletics and the Varsity Club attended a field trip to Frontier Field led by Mr. Kubitz, followed by an Athletic Banquet at the school.
The Varsity club is for students that want to be involved in athletics outside of playing on the field. Selected students that were interested in a career in sports and have been doing well in behavior and academics were chosen to attend.
The banquet honored those students who commit after school time to a team sport and recognizing their efforts. During the banquet, Mr. Kubitz gave all senior student-athletes that dedicated their time to our athletic teams a Varsity Letter.
Each varsity team selected one student-athlete to honor as the most improved and most valuable for all athletic teams no matter what the grade.
