Message From The Principal
Dear RACMS Families,
I am truly honored to continue serving as your principal and to warmly welcome both our new and returning families to the Rochester Academy Charter Middle School community.
My name is Robyn Roberts-Grant, and I am genuinely excited about the upcoming school year—a year I know will be filled with growth, collaboration, and endless possibilities for our scholars.
On a personal note, I am the proud mother of three children: Nazier, Sydney, and Mari. Being a parent has been the most challenging and rewarding role of my life, and it deeply informs how I lead. I understand firsthand the hopes, concerns, and aspirations you have for your children. Because of this, I take the responsibility of educating and supporting your scholar very seriously and am committed to always putting their best interests first.
Professionally, I bring over 26 years of experience in education, having worked at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. These experiences have provided me with a comprehensive understanding of the academic, social, and emotional transitions scholars encounter throughout their educational journey. Great teachers build great schools, and my primary goal is to support our staff with the tools, professional development, and encouragement they need to foster success for all of our scholars.
Together with our dedicated teachers and staff, I will continue to build on the legacy of excellence at RACMS by fostering strong relationships with scholars, families, and community partners. My mission is to ensure that every scholar has equitable access to engaging, rigorous, and meaningful learning experiences that prepare them not only for high school but for life beyond the classroom.
I am incredibly passionate about creating a learning environment where all scholars can thrive, and I look forward to the year ahead as an opportunity for us to grow and succeed together. I will work diligently alongside our staff to ensure scholars are both challenged and supported in their academic journey.
